Make 'em laugh

You know, I said that I don't really make specific resoultions, but I'm going to make one now. I resolve to laugh more. I do not laugh nearly enough. A little while ago I was reminded of this video, and I watched it again and it cracked me up just like the first time I saw it. And laughing like that reminded me of how good that feels, and how I should do it more often.

So go ahead, tell me a joke. Show me something funny. Clue me in to what gives you a chuckle. I bet I'm not the only one who could use a good laugh.

I will watch the first half hour of Out of Sight just to get to the part where Don Cheadle says, "Reading is fundamental and sh*t."

And I still giggle when I think of Paul Rudd singing, "Oh, the weather outside is ... wea-ther."

My husband is the usual cause of my plentiful laughter. Last night he had me in almost genuine pain when we were discussing his objections to the phrase "Bless you" (he thinks it's dumb to bless people when they sneeze) and his suggestion that we instead bless people when they vomit or pass gas.

Which means that every time the kids fart, I'm saying, "Bless you."

You're welcome.

did you know that laughing is like jogging on the inside?

When I need a good laugh, I go to YouTube and watch the leprechaun video, followed up by the Montgomery mini-mall rap.

I started laughing before your video even loaded because I am familiar with the Hawaii chair--only from watching Ellen. Ellen makes me laugh everytime.

I had never seen or heard of that chair. I laughed until I cried. Then I sent it to my friend, and I listened on the phone while she laughed until she cried. It was a pleasure. Thanks.
