Grammar snobs are awesome.

I do use proper spelling and punctuation when texting, too. I will even consult a dictionary if one is handy, because my phone does not have a spell-check and I am really bad at spelling, but also don't like to look stupid. Of course, the people I text, often reply with things like, "I think itd just be easier if I road the bus."

But... I thought "online" was like "outside," whatever part of speech that is. You can have "outside dining areas," and you can also "eat outside." But, you never do anything out side.Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06434151165867029916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33737849.post-25523385564290546252010-02-12T16:28:00.345-08:002010-02-12T16:28:00.345-08:00I'm a dork, then.I'm a dork, then.Angie McCullaghhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13338130265872869124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33737849.post-90618186395701474192010-02-12T14:25:24.421-08:002010-02-12T14:25:24.421-08:00you capitalize and punctuate in texts? now that...you capitalize and punctuate in texts? now that's just silly.Stacey Greenberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14716896540454461639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33737849.post-26612041996583124082010-02-12T13:51:25.903-08:002010-02-12T13:51:25.903-08:00For the record, the Microsoft Manual of Style for ...For the record, the Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications (which I have right here on my desk) says that online is one word in all instances, but should be avoided as much as possible because of ambiguous interpretation.Memphisotanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13570015395806348343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33737849.post-61514152434874460702010-02-12T12:49:12.122-08:002010-02-12T12:49:12.122-08:00Latin is such an easier written language, being de...Latin is such an easier written language, being dead and allWarrennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33737849.post-88361533761981531382010-02-12T12:31:13.003-08:002010-02-12T12:31:13.003-08:00Yes.
